From Wide Skies to Small Moments
I grew up moving across the West—California, Utah, Nevada, and Montana. Wide skies and long roads shaped how I see people: as part of a landscape, not separate from it. Before I picked up a camera, I worked in restaurants, ran a thrift shop, and swung a hammer on construction crews. Those jobs taught me to value the "slow craft" and the folks who carry their stories in their hands.
Brands & The Outdoor Industry
I bring a curious, steady presence to every project, whether I’m documenting a new product line or a business retreat. My background in manual labor and my time spent in the backcountry means I’m comfortable in the dirt and the details. I understand that for a brand, "authentic" isn't just a buzzword—it’s about documenting the steady focus in a workshop or the rugged reality of life on the trail.
Families & Elopements
When I’m documenting a couple or a family, I’m looking for what’s true: the laugh lines earned by years in the sun and the unscripted moments that happen between the poses. Whether it’s a quiet elopement in the Sierra Nevadas or a gathering on a porch, I aim to create images that feel timeless, intentional, and distinctly yours.
Life in the Orchards
When I’m not behind the lens, I’m likely at home in Chico, California, tending to a garden of native plants and vegetables with my partner, Tyler. Our 140-pound Golden-Pyrenees mix, Oso, is usually nearby, reminding me that a calm, watchful energy is the best way to move through the world.
If we aren't in the garden, you’ll find us mountain biking, backpacking, or botanizing in the Sierras. I believe the best photographs come from a place of trust and shared values. If you’re looking for a photographer who listens, pays attention to the nuances, and treats your story with care—I’d love to hear from you.
